PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (Aug. 27, 2013) An E-2D Hawkeye from the Pioneers of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 1 launches from the flight line on Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The flight marked the final launch and recovery for Capt. Jeffrey Davila, commanding officer of VX-1. Capt. Davila will be relieved by Capt. Wade Turvold Aug. 29.
