Pacific Partnership 2013 Combat Engineers Honor Medal of Honor Recipient on Tarawa Atoll A U.S. Marine Corps combat engineer humanitarian assistance survey team (HAST), in conjunction with Pacific Partnership 2013, conducted a memorial ceremony on Betio Island, part of Tarawa Atoll in the Republic of Kiribati, July 19, to honor one of their own.
