PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 11, 2013) A member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) is hoisted into a helicopter during a full-mission profile exercise. Mason is deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
