Naco, Ariz. - A 31-year-old Mexican national was arrested yesterday for an alleged attempt to smuggle more than 25 pounds of methamphetamine through the Naco port. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers referred the woman for a secondary inspection of her Jeep when she attempted to enter the United States. (more)

Fajardo, Puerto Rico - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Border Patrol and Puerto Rico police seized early Friday 58.6 pounds (26.6 kilos) of cocaine inside the trunk of a vehicle arriving on the Fajardo ferry. The estimated value of the cocaine is $665,000 and the vehicles' driver was arrested. (more)

Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Gateway International Bridge intercepted a load of alleged methamphetamine and cocaine. CBP officers discovered the alleged narcotics, valued at approximately $354,600, hidden within a Chevrolet Cobalt. (more)
