Calexico, Calif. - Yesterday morning, U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Border Patrol station arrested six men smuggling on their backs 265 pounds of marijuana into the United States.The incident occurred at approximately 6 a.m., after agents observed the men entering the United States from Mexico 18 miles west of the Calexico West Port of Entry. Presidio, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Presidio port of entry seized 139 pounds of marijuana Friday evening. The drugs were hidden in a six-inch pipe disguised as part of the undercarriage of a gooseneck trailer and in the trailer axles. (more)

San Juan, Puerto Rico - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized $34,685 in unreported currency last Thursday from a passenger arriving at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport from Venezuela. Tetsuro Nakada, 64, of Florida, failed to accurately declare having in his possession $15,335 and seven (7) checks totaling $19,350. (more)
