| July 26, 2013 Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships ConferenceThe U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will present the third annual Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships Conference via webcast July 30-31, 2013 in collaboration with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), United States Northern Command, and the American Red Cross in Washington D.C. The full two-day conference will be made available via webcast. Register today! Registration note: Please be sure to record user name and password at the time of registration--the information is required to access the webcast and cannot be recovered the day of the event if lost or forgotten. The conference will highlight successful public-private partnerships across the homeland security enterprise and is designed to identify solutions to coordination gaps between the public and private sectors. Each year, the conference attracts over 300 participants from the public and private sectors to promote innovation in furthering public-private partnerships across the homeland security enterprise. Panel topics include: “Public-Private Partnerships in Action,” “Small Business-A Big Partner in Preparedness and Response Efforts,” and “Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience." FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate will deliver opening remarks July 30. Other speakers include Assistant Secretary Douglas A.
