The first commanding officer of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) visited Newport News to speak to Lincoln Sailors attending ballast training July 25.

Amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9), along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) arrived in Brisbane, Australia July 29 for a scheduled port visit, prior to participation in joint and combined exercises in the region.

Fitness specialists at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI) Fitness Center held the Command Fitness Leader Certification Course to qualify Sailors as Command Fitness Leaders (CFLs), July 22-26.
