Eisenhower is returning to her homeport of Norfolk, Va., after operating in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts. Bonhomme Richard is the flagship for the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting routine joint-force operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
