Amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) arrived in the Solomon Islands for Pacific Partnership 2013, July 29.

Ships and embarked squadrons from Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HST CSG) entered U.S. 6th Fleet's area of responsibility (AOR), July 26 and 29th.

Amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9), along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) arrived in Brisbane, Australia July 29 for a scheduled port visit, prior to participation in joint and combined exercises in the region.

It was ten years ago to the day on July 29, 2003, that the final group of Naval Hospital Bremerton staff members returned from Fleet Hospital 8 at Rota, Spain supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pacific Partnership 2013 completed work in the Republic of Kiribati, the fifth of six mission ports, July 26.
