Several weeks of integrated training among the Medical Department aboard USS Boxer culminated in a six-hour final exam aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) July 24.

Family and friends bid farewell to the crew on the submarine piers at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam as the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) departed July 29, for a deployment to the Western Pacific region.

Ships and embarked squadrons from Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HST CSG) entered U.S. 6th Fleet's area of responsibility (AOR), July 26 and 29th.
