(more) 07/19/2013 05:21 PM EDT Hidalgo, Texas - Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested a Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico woman in connection with a failed smuggling attempt of cocaine valued at approximately $1,453,000.The seizure/arrest occurred on Thursday morning, July 18, when CBP officers working at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge encountered a red 2001 Ford Mustang driven by a 20-year-old female Mexican citizen. (more) 07/19/2013 05:21 PM EDT Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Gateway International Bridge on Thursday discovered cocaine valued at approximately $598,400 hidden within a Ford F-150 pickup.On Thursday at the Gateway International Bridge, CBP officers came in contact with the driver of a red 1999 Ford F-150 identified as a 22-year-old man. (more) 07/19/2013 05:21 PM EDT Sterling, Va. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection at Washington Dulles International Airport arrested a U.S. citizen Wednesday who was wanted for multiple sex offenses.Jean Paul Kruse, 40 of Marysville, Ohio, arrived on a flight from Kuwait. CBP officers determined Kruse to be subject to a warrant of arrest issued by the Union County, Ohio sheriff's office for five counts of rape, five counts of sexual battery, six counts of gross sexual imposition, and one count of intimidation of a victim or witness in a criminal case.
