Anzalduas, Texas - Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Anzalduas International Bridge arrested a 24-year-old male Mexican citizen who had an arrest warrant from Hillsboro, Oregon for rape and sexual abuse of a minor.The arrest occurred on Sunday afternoon, July 21 when CBP officers at the Anzalduas-Reynosa International Bridge encountered Raul Osvaldo Gonzalez Rios, a lawful permanent resident (LPR) from Alamo, Texas as he attempted to enter the U. Tucson, Ariz. - Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents rescued eight Mexican nationals late Thursday night after their smuggler abandoned them in the desert west of Tucson. BORSTAR -- the Search, Trauma and Rescue unit of the Border Patrol -- responded to a 911 call on Thursday evening from an individual who said that he and his group had been abandoned by their smuggler and were lost in the desert.
