Hidalgo, Texas-U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Hidalgo International Bridge seized $2,400,000 worth of cocaine and arrested two residents from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico in connection with the failed smuggling attempt.On Thursday morning, June 27, 2013 CBP officers working at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge discovered and seized alleged cocaine which was concealed within a white 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck. Pharr, Texas - Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Pharr International Bridge arrested a Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico woman in connection with a failed attempt to smuggle alleged cocaine and methamphetamine into the U.S.The seizure/arrest occurred on Wednesday morning, June 26 at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge after CBP officers encountered a beige 2002 Dodge Neon being driven by an 18-year-old female Mexican citizen. San Luis, Ariz. - A local man and woman were arrested yesterday at the Port of San Luis for attempting to smuggle nearly 25 pounds of cocaine and one pound of methamphetamine into the United States, in separate incidents.Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Ismael Beltran, 27, after a narcotics detection canine alerted officers to 11 packages of cocaine beneath the cowl of the vehicle's windshield. Tucson, Ariz. - Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents seized more than 1,700 pounds of marijuana early yesterday worth an estimated $850,000.Douglas Station agents working near Central Highway discovered an abandoned white GMC pick-up loaded with several bundles of marijuana concealed under plywood and in the cabin.
