President Declares Disaster for Colorado

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the State of Colorado to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by the Black Forest Wildfire during the period of June 11-21, 2013.

Federal funding is available for Crisis Counseling and Disaster Unemployment Assistance for affected individuals in El Paso County.
