The U.S. Fire Administration wishes everyone a happy and fire-safe 4th of July holiday! When cooking outside this week, enforce a "kid-free zone" of 3 feet around the grill and dispose of your charcoal coals - only after they are cool - in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid away from anything that can burn.
