If you're in #Hawaii or have friends there: Significant wind and rain are expected on the islands from tropical storm Flossie, starting Monday morning.

Listen to local officials and review your plan for severe weather. With lots of rain comes flood risk, so avoid driving and walking through flood waters; the depth and current can be deceiving and dangerous. More safety tips at http://m.fema.gov/hurricanes.

Tropical Storm Flossie intensified slightly overnight, but that trend appears to have abated somewhat in the last hour or two. Flossie continues to move on a westward track and is currently 600 miles East of Hilo Hawaii.
