The National Continuity Programs, Continuity of Operations Division is pleased to announce that the Continuity Guidance Circular 1 (CGC 1) revision was officially approved and released, effective July 2013. The provisions of this circular supersede CGC 1, dated January 21, 2009. For use and distribution, please find the attached guidance.
Continuity Guidance Circular 1 (CGC 1)
Continuity Guidance Circular 1 (CGC1), Continuity Guidance for Non-Federal Governments (States, Territories, Tribes, and Local Government Jurisdictions), was updated by the Continuity of Operations Division and approved July 2013, by Damon Penn, the Assistant Administrator for National Continuity Program, Federal Emergency Management Agency. In this update, new policies and clarifications to the existing ones are provided in order to give direction for the further development of continuity plans and programs for non-Federal partners.
