Amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) along with embarked Pacific Partnership 2013 personnel arrived in Noumea, New Caledonia, June 25.

Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) is offering everyone a chance to be a part of Navy history by helping to create a new logo that exemplifies the command.

Adm. Frank Kelso II, 79, former Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), died Sunday, June 23, 2013, following injuries sustained from a fall earlier in the week. Kelso, a native of Fayetteville, Ten., served as Chief of Naval Operations from June 29, 1990 until April 23, 1994.
