El Paso, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and U.S. Border Patrol agents working at the El Paso port of entry seized 16.7 pounds of cocaine Friday night. The estimated street value of the seized contraband is $534,400."This is the second cocaine load CBP has stopped in recent days," said Hector Mancha, CBP El Paso port director. (more)

Laredo, Texas -U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Laredo Port of Entry this past weekend intercepted 30.4 pounds of cocaine that a man was attempting to smuggle into the United States via the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge. The seizure occurred on Friday when CBP officers at the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge encountered a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 pickup driven by a 47-year-old male Mexican citizen. (more)
