USA Firefighter Fatality Notification

The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality: 

Name: Juan Pablo Casanova

Date of Incident: 07/16/2013

Time of Incident: 0800hrs

Date of Death: 08/10/2013

 

 

Fire Department: Brownsville Fire Department

Fire Department Chief: Leonardo Perez



Incident Description: Pump Operator/Engineer Casanova suffered a heart attack while on duty. Casanova experienced three more heart attacks while in the hospital where he passed away on August 10th.


Incident Location: Fire Station #2, 536 West St. Charles, Brownsville, TX 78520.
